NEWS RELEASE: ST. ANTHONY, ID – The Fremont County Joint School District No. 215 Board of Trustees has officially approved a resolution calling for a special bond election to be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Voters will be asked to consider the issuance of general obligation school bonds in an amount not to exceed $17 million. The proposed bond would finance the construction of a new performing arts addition at South Fremont High School, including a modern auditorium, classrooms, and related improvements. The project would also include furnishings and equipment necessary to operate the new facilities.

Election Information
The bond measure will require a two-thirds majority vote from qualified electors of the District. Voting will take place at regular polling places in Fremont and Madison Counties, with absentee voting also available through the county clerks.
Superintendent and Board members emphasized that the project reflects the District’s commitment to providing students with enhanced educational opportunities and facilities that serve both academic and community needs.
Next Steps
If the measure is approved, the bonds will be issued and repaid through annual property tax levies. The project will move forward immediately following voter authorization, with construction timelines and final plans to be determined after election certification.
