Thank you to Farm Bureau and Val Hammond for a tree-mendous visit!
We were excited to welcome Val Hammond from Farm Bureau to our school, where he taught our students all about the importance of trees. Each student went home with their very own Amur Maple tree to plant—what a wonderful way to grow their learning beyond the classroom!
Teachers were gifted the book My Grandpa, My Tree, and Me along with lesson plans to help continue the conversation in the classroom. We love this meaningful connection between literacy and life science!
Thank you, Farm Bureau and Val Hammond, for your generosity and support of hands-on, engaging learning experiences!

A big thank you to Ms. Thompson, Mr. Goulding, and our amazing 8th grade readers!
This week, students from Ms. Thompson’s 8th grade English class visited the elementary school to read with our Kindergarten through 2nd grade students—and gift them a book to keep! The book selections were spot on, and it was heartwarming to see the joy on the younger students' faces as they connected with their older peers.
A special thank you to Mr. Goulding for his support in making this meaningful experience possible.
Thank you again to Ms. Thompson and all the 8th grade readers for inspiring a love of reading and building connections across our school community!

Free Dental Sealants for Henry's Fork Elementary Students
Helping to prevent cavities for Idaho children
Beginning 4/15/2025, Henry's Fork Elementary 1st, 2nd, and 5th graders can receive free dental sealants and fluoride varnish to help prevent cavities, as part of Delta Dental of Idaho’s Grins on the Go program. Dental sealants fill the deep grooves of a child’s back teeth, where 90% of children’s cavities occur. The fluoride varnish helps protect the smooth surfaces of children’s teeth.
Grins on the Go clinics take place on-site at schools as part of Delta Dental of Idaho’s Community Outreach efforts.
To receive these FREE cavity-prevention treatments, children must attend Henry's Fork Elementary and have a parent or guardian sign a health history and permission form. Permission forms can be obtained from the school.
The Grins on the Go clinic does not bill Medicaid or private insurance. There is no cost associated with this program.
For more information, please call Delta Dental Community Outreach at 1-866-894-3563.

🎉 Our second graders had an amazing adventure yesterday thanks to the East Idaho Aquarium! 🐠🐢🦔
We were so lucky to get up close and personal with some incredible creatures, including an African crested porcupine, an adorable African hedgehog, and a pair of majestic Russian tortoises! 🤩
The students were absolutely fascinated, and their curiosity was sparked by all the amazing facts they learned. We had a flurry of fantastic questions, showing just how engaged and excited everyone was!
A huge thank you to the East Idaho Aquarium for bringing such a wonderful learning experience to our school. We can't wait for the next exciting visit! ✨
